Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using (the “Service”) operated by Splendid Labz (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Overview

Our Service includes:

  • Packages or Libraries
  • Documentation

“Packages” or “Libraries” refers to the software libraries published on NPM as part of the Service. These packages have been published under the @splendidlabz scope.

“Documentation” refers to the written materials, guides, and other resources available to paid subscribers of the Service.

1. Use of Libraries

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Libraries in their original, unmodified form solely for integration into your software development projects.

You may not:

  1. Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, loan, or otherwise transfer the Libraries to any third party.
  2. Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Libraries.
  3. Use the Libraries to develop a competing product or service.
  4. Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices contained in the Libraries.
  5. Use the Libraries in any manner that violates any applicable laws or regulations.

This license does not transfer ownership of the Libraries to you. Splendid Labz retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Libraries, including all intellectual property rights.

2. Documentation Access

Access to Documentation is available only to paid subscribers of the Service. Subscribers can be individuals or teams. This access can be purchased through our pricing page.

Subscribers may use the Documentation for personal or internal business purposes only. Sharing, distributing, or reselling the Documentation is strictly prohibited.

For team subscriptions, each team member must have an individual license to access the Documentation. Sharing of login credentials or simultaneous use of a single license by multiple team members is strictly prohibited.

Team owners and admins will be able to manage the licenses available to their team in the Team after logging into the platform.

3. Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions are charged on a annual basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it prior to the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. In the event of early cancellation, you will retain access to the Documentation until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for the unused portion of your subscription period.

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. If we do change our fees, we will provide notice of the change on our website or by email to you, at our option, at least 14 days before the change is to take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the fee change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the changed amount.

4. Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund within 30 days of the initial purchase.

To request a refund, you must contact us through the contact page on our website. Refund requests made after the 30-day period will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

We do not provide refunds for partial use or non-use of the Service during an active subscription period, except within the first 30 days of the initial purchase.

5. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features of the Service, including the Documentation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the site and our services at any time without notice, especially in cases of violation of these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, code, and software, is our property or that of our content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, prepare derivative works based on, or otherwise use the content, except as expressly authorized under these Terms.

8. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
