Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using (the “Service”) operated by Splendid Labz Pte. Ltd. (“Splendid Labz”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Overview
Our Service includes:
- Packages or Libraries
- Documentation
“Packages” or “Libraries” refers to the software libraries published on NPM as part of the Service. These packages have been published under the @splendidlabz scope.
“Documentation” refers to the written materials, guides, and other resources available to holders of a licence key.
1. Use of Libraries
Every package published under the @splendidlabz scope is licensed under the Elastic License 2.0. A copy travels inside each package as LICENSE.md, and its terms govern your use of that package. Where those terms and these Terms differ, the licence governs.
In summary, the licence lets you use, copy, distribute, make available, and prepare derivative works of a package, free of charge. It does not let you provide a package to others as a hosted or managed service, move or disable its licence key functionality, remove or obscure any functionality that key protects, or remove any licensing, copyright, or other notice.
This transfers no ownership. Splendid Labz retains all right, title, and interest in the Libraries, including all intellectual property rights.
2. Licence Keys
Paid capabilities in the Libraries are unlocked by a licence key. We issue a key when you buy a product on our pricing page, and the key names the products it covers.
Each product covers a set of packages. Splendid AI covers @splendidlabz/ai. Splendid Pro covers every Splendid Labz library. The pricing page lists what each product includes at the time of purchase. A key also gives you access to the Documentation for the products it covers.
What your key covers. Your key names a date for each product it covers. Every version of a covered package published on or before that date is yours to run permanently, with its paid capabilities working. Nothing switches off when the date passes. A version you were entitled to run stays entitled.
The date decides what you can upgrade to, not how long the software runs.
Installing a version your key does not cover. For 30 days after the date on your key, the paid capabilities in a newer version still run and print a warning in your console. After that they stop until you hold a key with a later date.
Renewing. A renewal issues a new key with a later date, and that key covers every version published on or before it — including versions published while you were not renewed.
For example, if your key names 1 March 2027: version 3.2, published 10 June 2026, runs permanently. Version 4.0, published 10 March 2027, is not covered by that key — it warns until 31 March 2027 and then stops. Renewing to 1 March 2028 covers version 4.0.
Trials. We may issue a trial key on request. A trial key unlocks paid capabilities for 14 days, covers no purchase, and charges nothing when it ends.
Restrictions. We issue a key to one person, or for a team product, to the number of seats stated at purchase. You may not share, publish, resell, or sublicense a key, and you may not share Documentation access or account credentials. Team owners and admins manage their seats in the Team page after logging in.
3. Licence Terms and Billing
A licence covers a period, and we charge for it in one of two ways. The pricing page states both for each product.
A perpetual licence names no end date. Every version of a covered package we ever publish is covered, however long after your purchase we publish it.
A term licence names a date, usually one year from the day we issue it. Unless we state otherwise at purchase, it renews automatically, and you may cancel before any renewal date. Each renewal issues a new key naming a later date.
We charge a perpetual licence once. We charge a term licence at the start of each term.
Cancelling a term licence takes nothing away. You keep every version published on or before the date on your key, and you keep Documentation access until the end of the term you have paid for. We issue no partial refunds for an unused part of a term.
We may change our fees at any time. We will give notice of a fee change on our website or by email, at our option, at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect is your agreement to pay the changed amount.
4. Refund Policy
If you are unsatisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund within 30 days of the initial purchase.
To request a refund, you must contact us through the contact page on our website. Refund requests made after the 30-day period will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
We do not provide refunds for partial use or non-use of the Service during an active subscription period, except within the first 30 days of the initial purchase.
